Somnous is a mid-luxury brand focused on enhancing the sleeping experience. We are committed to helping you transform your space into your sleep sanctuary, while guide you for the optimal relaxation.
Inspired by the combination of the Greek words “Soma” referring to “Body” and “Nous” meaning “Mind”, as well as from the Latin derived word “Somnus” for “Sleep”, Somnous conveys the idea
of achieving harmony and balance for healthy sleep, encompassing both physical and mental well-being.

Hi, I’m Zoi Livitsanou the founder of Somnous and I’m here to help you reclaim your best sleep!
I am a certified Wellness Life Coach and Adult Sleep Coach, based in Greece. Even though my initial studies were in Economics and my career path lays in different fields (from Fashion to Aviation and later Pharma), all of these experiences contributed to my journey and brought me where I am today.
As an ex-flight attendant, apart from enjoying traveling around the world, I was dealing with shift working hours. Hence, I was trained with a course about familiarization with Circadian Rhythms and tools to help mastering my body clock, in order to sleep non-ordinary hours, take power naps in my breaks, and of course adapt in different time zones, hotel beds and climates. If I wasn’t consistent with my bedtime routine and my training guidelines, I would have to battle with serious sleep issues, insomnia, and fatigue.
Soon after my return to Greece and my new career path, the sleep issues knocked on my door again, for different reasons. At the same time, many of my friends kept complaining about their sleep deprivation and how it was affecting their mood and productivity.
At that point I had my AHA moment! Why not combine my passion for creating vibrant experiences, with meeting the basic need of a restful and rejuvenated sleep? That was my wake-up call to explore professionally Coaching, research and try products that can improve the quality of our sleep.
Here I am, ready to navigate you into your unique Somnous.
